The welterweight division is yet to crown a new champion, but it has certainly gained one of its biggest reinforcements. Fight Nation Championship has welcomed Igor Cavalcanti (27, 11-1)! The Brazilian fighter has only one career loss, which came when he attempted to reach the UFC through Dana White's Contender Series.

All 11 of his victories came by finish—eight by knockout or technical knockout and three by submission. He has already announced his pursuit of the top of the division, and we will see him in the cage soon.
