Eight months after becoming the bantamweight champion of Fight Nation Championship, Darko 'Face Smasher' Banović (33, 20-9) will defend his title. The confrontation was set in Pula after the fight, and now, after some time of waiting, it is officially confirmed - Miljan Zdravković (26, 8-0) will challenge the fighter from the Austrian HIRO Gym at Ahilej FNC 23 powered by Meridianbet in Belgrade’s Arena.
After a split-decision victory over UFC veteran Marco Beltrán (39, 19-10) in Sarajevo, Darko became the inaugural bantamweight champion at the FNC 19 event in Pula’s Arena, where he secured a D’arce Choke three seconds before the end of the third round and immediately accepted the challenge of his new contender.

It certainly won’t be easy for him, as standing across the cage will be one of the best European bantamweights, who signed with the top MMA organization in Southeast Europe. He comes from the Polish KSW, where he secured two consecutive victories and earned the award for the best performance of the night.
