Miloš Janičić named FNC Fighter of the Year! Best Knockout goes to Ivan Sičaja, and Best Submission to Đurđev

Entering the new year, Fight Nation Championship rounded off an outstanding period by awarding the best of the past year. The leading MMA promotion in Southeast Europe has so far handed out three awards: Fighter of the Year, Knockout of the Year, and Submission of the Year for 2025.

This year, Miloš “Cobra” Janičić (28, 19-3) recorded two victories inside the FNC cage and became by far the organization’s biggest star. He defeated Marko Bojković in Belgrade, generating massive hype, and then closed out the year with a home victory over Alex “Cowboy” Oliveira, earning the Fighter of the Year award.

After the departure of Jordan Barton, the featherweight title was claimed by Ivan “Tirke” Sičaja (31, 8-1), who knocked out Pawel Politylo in Zagreb with a spectacular flying knee, securing the Knockout of the Year award.

Buggy choke specialist Nikola Đurđev (27, 7-4) was losing his fight against Stipe Brčić at the Medulin premiere of FNC Knockout, but near the very end of the third round he pulled off an incredible version of the submission, earning the Submission of the Year award.
