Heavyweight clash on FNC 18: Kićo Stamatović faces career challenge, experienced Brazilian fighter

The Montenegrin fighter will have a challenging task in Banja Luka against an opponent who has "seen it all."

The Fight Nation Championship caravan is coming to Banja Luka, bringing a heavyweight clash to the FNC 18 powered by Soccerbet event. Four months after his victory at FNC 15 in Ljubljana, Milenko 'Kićo' Stamatović (30, 4-0) faces the challenge of his career against the experienced Brazilian fighter Carlos 'Cachorrão' Eduardo (42, 20-11).
Following three quick victories, the Montenegrin fighter demonstrated in Slovenia that he can handle and control a match over three rounds. Now, he is set to face a fighter who has seen it all in his career, from the cages of Russian organizations like ACA, to Bellator, and now to Banja Luka. Kićo will aim to maintain his undefeated streak while delivering an unforgettable night for the audience.

The Brazilian fighter is extremely dangerous on the ground, with nine career victories by submission. He has never been forced to submit, and in the cages of strong Russian organizations, he has always delivered top-notch performances, making it tough for the judges if he didn't secure a win. The region became familiar with him when he knocked out Bosnian fighter Benjamin Šehić (29, 6-4), and he aims to replicate that success at FNC 18. The event will take place on Saturday, July 13, at Borik Hall, and tickets are available through the Gigstix.ba system.
