FNC Vikings 3 Superfights: Kazachynskyi knocks out Denes, Tošković chokes out Ajd!
After the amateur bouts went to the judges’ scorecards, all three Superfights ended with finishes

Three excellent Superfights are behind us at FNC Vikings 3 powered by SuperSport at Zagreb’s American Top Team gym, and all three ended with finishes!
There was no long wait for a finish in the first Superfight of the evening. Magomed Mirzaev immediately took the initiative and, after taking his opponent down, finished the fight with a submission in the first round against Martin Čečić. Quick and efficient.
Next into the cage were their fellow welterweights, and this fight started much more cautiously. Benjamin Ajd, a new member of Zagreb’s ATT, and Montenegro’s Nikola Tošković both looked for openings in their opponent’s game plan. The opening five minutes turned into a tactical battle between the two.
Ajd loosened up in the second round and repeatedly looked for the uppercut, while Tošković waited for opportunities to counter and landed well. Both fighters were becoming increasingly tired, but they still had a third round ahead of them. Tošković opened with some good straight punches and looked for high kicks, while the Slovenian relied on his straight punches and wrestling against the fence. In the end, it was the grappling and a submission just before the end of the third round that earned Tošković the victory. He found an opening in Benjamin Ajd’s defence and forced him to tap with an anaconda choke.
In the main event, we saw a clash between two familiar FNC lightweights, Akos Denes and Mikola Kazachynsky. The Ukrainian came out aggressively, looking to knock Denes out in the opening two minutes, but the Hungarian moved well around the cage. Denes had former FNC bantamweight champion Darko Banović in his corner, who had plenty of advice for him after the opening five minutes.
There was little indication in the second round that the fight was close to ending, although Kazachynsky landed several good shots. Ultimately, one powerful strike in the third round brought him the victory. He landed a devastating middle kick to Denes’ liver that sent him to the canvas. The referee allowed the action to continue, and the Ukrainian fighter quickly finished the job.
