After the spectacular FNC 24 event in Zagreb Arena, Fight Nation Championship continued its journey to Slovenia with FNC Knockout 2. In Maribor, at the Tabor Arena, we witnessed the return to victory for Jakob “Gorilla” Nedoh (29, 9-4), who knocked out Lucas “Cobra” Alsina (39, 13-6) in the second round. Another big comeback came from Slovenia’s former top heavyweight prospect, Tadej Dajčman (29, 6-4), who scored a third-round knockout over Jeremy Kimball (34, 20-12).
The evening opened with professional MMA debuts, where the fighter from Pula’s Trojan Team, Yevhen Honcharko (22, 1-0), earned a unanimous decision win over Ori Sarusi (21, 0-1). Following that, Dalibor Dragojević (20, 3-0) escaped a tough situation and also secured a unanimous decision victory against Igor Junior (22, 3-1).
The most spectacular move of the night came from Akos Denes (25, 5-0), who delivered a stunning knee strike to knock out Dino Suljkanović (24, 3-3). Continuing in dominant fashion, Alexandr Drabinca (25, 3-0) finished Mehdi Barghi (38, 6-5) by submission. Another major surprise came from Simeon Karslidis (28, 8-2), who ended Arkadiusz Palkowski (33, 7-3) with a spectacular high kick.
Rok Krušič (26, 7-3) also impressed, submitting Lucas Alfaia (27, 8-3) in the third round, after which ultimate kickboxing made its return to FNC with Andrej Kedveš (28, 1-0) defeating former Glory champion Serhiy Adamchuk (35, 0-1).
Former FNC featherweight champion Daniel Bažant (34, 8-8) faced a tough opponent and ultimately lost to Ilia Karuknishvili (29, 10-2). There won’t be much time to rest, as FNC 25 is just around the corner. The next major event is scheduled for Saturday, November 29, in Varaždin.
