FNC 8 and the 'Armagedon' finals: Sivonjić defeated Mahmić in three tough rounds, Batinić returned with a victory

The situation was chaotic with the cancellations of fighters at the last minute, but the Fight Nation Championship held its eighth event as part of which we got four new champions of the third season of the 'Armagedon Jamnica Pro Sport' MMA league. We got several fighters that we will surely see in the FNC cage in the future, and Matej Batinić returned with a victory against the Austrian Dritan Barjamaj.

In the first final of 'Armageddon', the champion in the featherweight (-66 kg) category became Demahmet Sinani, who came back after a heavy armbar and ended the match against Filip Lokas with RNC. In the second final, Teufik Šehić showed excellent BJJ, who after a minute caught Abraham Salimon Are with a heel hook and won for the first time in the MMA cage. Ognjen Babić is not without reason undefeated in his amateur career, and now he did the same in his professional career when he forced Luka Vargović to surrender after almost two minutes of the first round. The last match of "Armagedon" brought a real "war" in three rounds, and David Sivonjić disappointed two busloads of fans from Maglaj because he defeated Selver Mahmić by unanimous decision of the judges.

The main part of the evening was opened by Fran Luka Đurić and Leandro Gomes, and the young Croatian fighter lost to the young Portuguese by split decision. Luka Giorgadze has already forgotten the defeat from Marko Bojković and finished Denislav Hadzhiev with ground and pound in the first round. Shota Betlemidze controlled the match against Quentin Domingos, who retired due to injury in the break between the first and second rounds. Ivica Trušček finished off Tonči Perušek in the first half of the first round, and in the main match of the evening, Matej Batinić won by technical knockout against Dritan Barjamaj.
