Bojković returns to winning ways, Kagirov delivers a spectacular knockout

Another top-tier fight night organized by Fight Nation Championship is behind us, held in a sold-out Vijuš Arena in Slavonski Brod. FNC 28 powered by Supersport delivered 11 high-level bouts, culminating in the Fight of the Night, where Marko Bojković knocked out Ivan Vulchyn in the third round. Both fighters earned €5,000 performance bonuses from the main sponsor for the best fight of the evening.

We also witnessed an outstanding 15-minute co-main event, where Fran Luka Đurić secured the biggest victory of his career after three hard-fought rounds against former title challenger Bondo Kikadze. Local favorite Andrej Kedveš needed just 35 seconds to knock out Emanuele Lupescu, while Jovan Marjanović impressed with a second-round finish of top welterweight contender Simeon Karslidis.

In a high-level middleweight clash, Piotr Strus turned the tide against Will Currie and won by unanimous decision, while in the light heavyweight division, Tiriel Luka Abramović extended his unbeaten streak against Lucas Alsina. Martin Batur also returned to winning ways with a first-round knockout of Wesley Martins.

The main card opened with Veljko Aleksić scoring a first-round TKO over Marek Budinski, followed by Marko Ančić, who secured an armbar victory just before the end of the opening round against Ahmad Tahah Sadiqpour. The night began with three preliminary bouts, including Luke Pisarić’s successful FNC debut as he convincingly defeated Syrene Senobio, and Akhmed Kagirov, who needed only 42 seconds to overcome Italo Santos. The curtain has slowly fallen over Slavonia, but not for long. On April 11, FNC 29 heads to Arena Stožice in Ljubljana, where light heavyweight champion Matej Batinić will face Jakob Nedoh in the main event. Tickets are on sale and available via the Entrio platform.
