Batur’s knockout in the main event, Staropoli’s stunning finish

The curtain has fallen on another spectacular night delivered by Fight Nation Championship. We witnessed 11 brutal fights at FNC 30 powered by Supersport in Zadar at Krešimir Ćosić Hall, and the outstanding event concluded with Martin Batur defeating Milenko 'Kićo' Stamatović by knockout in the second round. The heavyweights delivered an excellent fight, with the hometown fighter badly hurting the Montenegrin with a devastating right hook before finishing the job on the ground.

In the co-main event, Antun Račić defeated Mauricio Almeida by unanimous decision after three rounds, but before that we witnessed what was probably the best bare-knuckle fight in the history of the organization, as Petar Ražov and Ante Bilić went to war for five incredible rounds. In the end, the hometown fighter earned a split decision victory. Due to their unbelievable clash, they received the Supersport sponsor award for Fight of the Night, with each fighter taking home an additional €5,000.

Earlier in the evening, we saw one of the best knockouts in FNC history when Laureano Staropoli sent Wahed Nazhand 'to sleep' with a brutal spinning kick after 1 minute and 57 seconds of the first round, earning the Supersport award for Knockout of the Night worth €5,000. Marko Ančić also secured the fifth win of his career, defeating Ronaldo Ferreira by split decision, while in the heavyweight division Tadej Dajčman earned his second consecutive victory by knocking out Polish legend Michal Kita one second before the end of the second round.

The home crowd was silenced by Robin Moosmann, who submitted Luka Milidragović in the first round, while Jure Jurić knocked out late replacement Guilherme Nogueira after just 24 seconds. In the preliminary portion of the event, Ilija Brkan was the better fighter in all three rounds against Chris Hill and earned a unanimous decision victory, while Kiril Negru picked up his first professional win in the opening bout of the night.

We witnessed incredible fights and experienced another dose of adrenaline, but now only a three-week break follows. Then comes one of the most anticipated events ever - Ahilej FNC 31 by Meridianbet, already on May 30 at Belgrade Arena.
